- For travel to China you will need a passport valid for at least 6 months and an entry visa
- For stays up to two months it is normally possible to enter on a tourist visa
- For stays longer than two months a student visa is needed which requires an offer letter for a recognised course of study
- China Pathways will organise the 'Admission Notice' from BLCU and authorisation from the Ministry of Education (Form JW202). These are required to apply for the 6 month 'F' study visa.
- Approximately one month before you travel you will need to apply for your visa yourself, or use the services of Commodore Travel or China Pathways. You will need to send your passport, the Form JW202 and a completed application form (Q1) which can be downloaded (here) from the Embassy website
- Allow at least one week for visa processing
